Recalled Baby Einstein Jumper – Skull Fractures
Of the incidents reported, 61 cases involved injuries ranging from bruises and lacerations to face and skull fractures. The baby jumper has numerous colorful toys attached to its base, and the flawed units appear to have a faulty spring on the yellow sun attachment.
The sun toy on the recalled Baby Einstein Jumper “can rebound with force and injure the infant, posing an impact hazard,” according to a report published by the United States Consumer Production Safety Commission (CPSC).
The product was sold at Toys ‘R’ Us, Target, Amazon.com and other stores, and it was retailed for approximately $90, according to Medical Daily.
